2020/21 CCMS Cup - Welcome
Welcome to our new website! Long overdue and without the amazing skills and super generosity of Cup Racer Trent (Too tall) McDiarmid we probably still wouldn’t be on the World Wide Web. I hope you agree Trent has done a great job and I am very grateful for all he has done to get us online.
Check out the Shop page, if you have any bikes or parts you want to advertise just send us pics and contact details and we will get them posted up. Browse the pages and if you think we have missed something let me know.
Season 10
With the announcement of season 10 of the Carl Cox Motorsport Cup things are well underway preparing for an awesome season of Cup racing. Changes to the AMCC program have made room for 4 races at each round! This will of course include our legendary Le Mans start race and 3 x grid starts. Plenty of track time especially if you cross enter to the Junior or intermediate classes.
Registrations
Registrations are steadily coming through with some new riders, some ladies and some very quick young pilots with International experience. Our longest competing rider Benny Cook has announced he is returning to the Hyosung Cup from his 1 season stint on the Ninja 400. His main reason is he misses the battles with good mate and current Champion Lozza May. A welcome return is also being made by Alex “Butman” Butson. After a season off Alex is keen to stand on the top step saying “That shouldn’t be hard if Loren can win” Lol. We love the banter these guys bring to the Cup, awesome rivalry and also very good racing from experienced Cup riders who have refined the art of going quick with 30hp.
So far we have 3 ladies entered, Turiana Banks is back to make a few boys cry with more top 5 results and I’m sure podiums are not far away on her Kiwi Bike Insurance GT250R. Also welcoming Amber “chaotic Blonde” Erasmus on her ex Sean White X4R. Many of you will know Amber and her huge Social Media profile. Amber does great work for her sponsors and Kawasaki through FB and Instagram. Another newbie is Amy Thurston, encouraged along by Mike Cross. Amy ride’s a Street Triple and is a keen track dayer. After a few sessions she wont be far off the pace on her GT250R.
Moving over to the Ninja Cup is a returning Paiva Santos, Evan Hansen and Sean White. Dave Readings returns after a season off on his Ninja 400 also. Stand by for an announcement about our current Ninja Cup Champion Jesse Stroud. The very quick Chris Smith returns to battle on the Passmasters Ninja.
Stand by for more updates.
